Prompt 1: Growth Stage Engineering Leader

Client Request:

Director of Engineering, VP of Engineering, or CTO in the United States who either:

1) has experience at top SaaS companies with deep technical cultures, like Stripe and Dropbox

2) has graduated from a top university

3) both 1) and 2)

The candidate should have at least 8 years of total experience, as well as 3+ years of experience working at a growth-stage company with between 50 and 500 employees during their tenure.

For this search, we used three separate strategies to source the best candidates based on our description. For the first strategy, we targeted profiles with both specific company experience and from top universities. Next, we targeted profiles with specific company experience, while excluding all profiles that were included in the first search. Finally, we targeted profiles from top universities, while excluding all profiles that were included in the first and second searches. By exercising different criteria while simultaneously excluding duplicate profiles, we have sourced candidates that best fit our “either/both” description across all three sourcing strategies.
